The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has commenced a large-scale enforcement operation targeting motorists using illegally tinted vehicles, concealed number plates and unregistered vehicles as part of efforts to combat crime in Abuja. A Magistrate Court sitting in Ilesa, Osun State has sentenced two men, Damilare Oladunjoye and Azeez Ibironke to one year in prison for stealing iron rods from a federal road construction site along the Ilesa-Ibadan Expressway.
