The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) posted a profit after tax of N276 billion in March 2026, as the national oil firm sustained growth in gas production and sales while maintaining steady crude oil output. The Nigerian Defence Academy has said it has concluded plans to conduct its 2026 Annual Range Classification Exercise for Nigerian Army personnel serving at the academy. Police in Yobe State have arrested a suspect in connection with an alleged armed robbery attack on a commercial motorcyclist in Tarmuwa Local Government Area.
