The World Health Organisation (WHO) has honoured six laureates for their outstanding contributions to primary healthcare and global public health during the 79th World Health Assembly. Nigerien arrested in Bauchi over alleged theft of rams

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 58-year-old Nigerien national, Sayyadi Abubakar, over his alleged involvement in the theft of rams in Bauchi metropolis. The suspect, said to be from Tahoua Town in Maradi State, Niger Republic, was arrested on May 19, 2026, after police operatives intercepted two vehicles along Gubi Road in Bauchi.
