The Federal High Court in Lagos has convicted 11 Indian sailors and their merchant vessel, MV Aruna Hulya, for importing 31.5 kilogrammes of cocaine into Nigeria through the Apapa seaport. The National Industrial Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed by a former deputy director of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Yisa Usman, challenging his dismissal from service and the disciplinary process that led to his removal. VMO Aero, an aircraft acquisition and management company, has provided its first detailed account of the aircraft incident that led to a recent grounding of one of its jets by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
