33 people arraigned over Ebonyi communal clash, killings

No fewer than 33 suspects were arraigned before a state high court in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, on Friday over a communal clash between two communities in the state. The two communities are Amasiri Community in Afikpo Local Government Area and Okporojo community in Oso Edda, Edda Local Government Area of the state. Army rescues 31 abductees, neutralises five terrorists in North-West 

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have rescued 31 kidnapped victims and killed five suspected terrorists during separate operations in Zamfara and Katsina states. The operations, conducted by troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA, also led to the destruction of terrorist camps and the recovery of weapons, motorcycles and ammunition. Paul Onuachu has been shortlisted for the Turkish Süper Lig Goal of the Season, DAILY POST reports. Onuachu was nominated for his  superb scissor-kick finish in Trabzonspor’s 4-2 victory over Fatih Karagümrük last September. It was first voted the Süper Lig’s Goal of the Month for September.
