The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has secured the conviction of four suspected oil pipeline vandals. DSC Anthony Uchenna, CDPRO, Delta State Command, said in a statement that Justice Olubanjo of the Federal High Court, Asaba, convicted four suspects, namely Sylvania Elvis, Peter Ojichini, Bala Idris Adey and Joel Bala Emmanuel, for conspiracy and tampering with oil pipelines. A 45-year-old man, Yusuf Usman, has died after he became trapped inside a well in Kwa Town, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, while attempting to retrieve his mobile phone.
