The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has evacuated 607 beggars and mentally challenged individuals from the streets of Abuja, from July 2025 to date. Mrs Ukachi Adebayo, Head of  Enforcement, FCT Social Development Secretariat (SDS) made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday. The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun, has arrested no fewer than 32 suspected criminals across the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects were allegedly involved in offences including kidnapping, violation of the anti-grazing law, conspiracy, attempted murder, and theft.
