The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, says its position on matters relating to digital and non-traditional lending is limited to its regulatory responsibilities. This is contained in a statement by the Commission’s Director, Corporate Affairs, Ondaje Ijagwu, on Sunday in Abuja. Ijagwu said this is under the Digital, Electronic, Online or Non-Traditional Consumer Lending Regulations 2025 (DEON Regulations). A suspected militia attack on Mbasa community in Utange Council Ward of Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State has claimed the life of one resident and left several houses destroyed.
