The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in Enugu State has dismissed reports of an imminent terrorist attack and mass abduction of students in the institution. The Kano State Government has sealed a building under construction at Kwari Market over alleged illegal development. The action was carried out on Sunday by a committee led by the Director-General of the Kano Geographic Information System (KANGIS), Dalhatu Aliyu Sani, following reports that the structure was being erected without proper approval.
