The governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, has said that he has set up a working committee within his government to collaborate with the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers on creating awareness about insurance in the state. A yet-to-be-identified driver suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol has been hospitalised following a collision with a truck in the Ebute-Ero area of Apongbon, Lagos State. The United States recorded a $1.45bn goods trade surplus with Nigeria in the first 10 months of 2025, reversing a deficit position from the previous year, as US exports to Nigeria surged while imports from Nigeria declined, the latest US trade data show.
