The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the promotion of one Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), two Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs), and 26,119 inspectors following its third plenary meeting on 29 January. In a statement issued by the commission, Funsho Adegboye, an AIG, was elevated to the rank of DIG.
