The Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja has restrained the Imo State Government, various security agencies and local government chairmen from interfering with the rallies, meetings and other civic activities of a House of Representatives member from Imo State, Imo Ugochinyere. Justice Kayode Agunloye issued the interim injunction following an ex parte application filed by Mr Ugochinyere, through his lawyer Chibuzor Ezike, in suit number marked FCT/HC/CV/153/2026. The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has said critical data from the flight recorder of the private jet that landed on a road near Asaba Airport was overwritten after the aircraft was flown back to Lagos before investigators could take custody of it. Police revealed that Kristopher Karolkiewicz bought a gun just over one week before he killed his wife, Amanda “Mandy” Karolkiewicz, their six kids and himself in a murder-suicide. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said that Kristopher, 47, purchased a 9 mm handgun eight days before the tragic events occurred on July 24, according to WOOD TV-8.
