Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has completed a permanent move to Coventry City from Nottingham Forest. The 29-year-old striker reportedly joins Coventry in a deal worth around £9 million, bringing an end to his four-year spell at Forest. The move also sees Awoniyi reunite with Nigeria teammate Frank Onyeka, who is already part of the Coventry squad. The Lagos State Government has impounded 175 vehicles for allegedly violating regulations on the use of dealer number plates. The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed this on Monday, saying the vehicles were seized by the Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) during ongoing enforcement operations. Mr Osiyemi stated that the enforcement was targeted at motorists and vehicle dealers who use dealer number plates for purposes outside those allowed by law. “As part of ongoing enforcement efforts, the Vehicle Inspection Service (VIS) has apprehended 175 vehicles found in violation of these regulations,” he said. YouTube will soon count a view as soon as a video starts to play, lining up with the system used by Instagram, TikTok, and its Shorts videos.
