The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Ogun State Command, has arrested 210 suspects for offences ranging from vandalism to fraud and illegal mining in the last one and a half years. The State Commandant, Mrs Remilekun Ekundayo, disclosed this during a familiarisation visit to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ogun Council in Abeokuta on Wednesday. Some gunmen have reportedly abducted a Fulani herdsman based in Ijebu Jesa, Osun State, identified as Yahaya Sulaiman. The abductors, it was learnt, have demanded a sum of N70m ransom before his release.
