Hong Kong Regulators to Submit Draft Bill for Crypto Framework in 2026

Cross River generates N17.4 billion from 2025 Calabar Carnival — Tourism bureau

The Cross River State Tourism Bureau says over N17.4 billion was injected into the state treasury from its 32-day festivals and carnivals in December 2025. Ojoi Ekpenyong, the managing director of the tourism bureau, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, said the event hosted over 248,000 visitors. He said that the statistics reinforced the event’s growing status as one of Nigeria’s “most powerful” tourism drivers. CPS: Nigerian govt announces pension self-service platform

The Nigerian government, through the National Pension Commission (PenCom), has announced plans to unveil a self-service online data recapture application known as the Data Recapture Self-Service Platform (PENCAP) on 1 February 2026. In a statement issued by PenCom on Friday, the platform will enable Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders to remotely update their personal records (recapture) without necessarily visiting their Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs). Police nab 2 suspects over alleged ritual killing of minor in Ogun

The police in Ogun State have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of a six-year-old boy for ritual purposes in Ebute Igboro town, Yewa North Local Government Area of the state. DAILY POST gathered that the deceased, Pemisere Bara, was reported missing by his father, Bara Kehinde, at the Ebute-Igbooro Police Station.
