The Nigerian Navy has transferred five individuals suspected of involvement with the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Eastern Security Netwrk, ESN, and related criminal groups to the Department of State Services, DSS, Anambra State Command, for further investigation. A statement signed Abiodun Folorunsho, Naval Director of Information, said that he suspects were detained by personnel from the Naval Outpost, NOP, Onitsha, stationed at Forward Operating Base, FOB, Amiyi, following intelligence reports that connected them to alleged criminal activities in the Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State. Tolu Arokodare could leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer following their relegation from the Premier League. Arokodare only joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk last summer for €24m. The forward managed just three goals in 28 league appearances for the Old Gold. The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old suspected kidnapper, Okechukwu Chinweko, male, popularly known as “bullet”, over alleged involvement in a case of abduction, rape and unlawful possession of firearm. The suspect’s arm with a tattoo inscription: “Bullet” boldly written, was positively identified in connection with an incident that occurred on May 2, 2026, where he allegedly abducted and raped a female victim before police operatives rescued her.
