The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has refuted speculations that it has relocated its Enugu office to Abuja to exclude the South-east from passport issuance in Nigeria. The NIS spokesperson, Akinsola Akinlabi, refuted the speculations in a statement on Saturday. The Oyo State Police Command has arrested a 65-year-old man over alleged defilement of a six-year-old girl in Ibadan. The Command disclosed this in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade. Ayanlade said the victim was allegedly coerced and indecently assaulted multiple times throughout December 2025 by the perpetrator. Victor Osimhen scored his 15th goal of the season as Galatasaray defeated Caykur Rizespor 3-0 in their Turkish Super Lig clash. The Nigeria international netted Galatasaray’s third goal against Rizespor 11 minutes from time. Osimhen also hit the target in Galatasaray’s last league game against Kayserispor.
