The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday ordered the remand of social media influencer, Justice Chidiebere, popularly known as ‘Justice Crack,’ in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS) over allegations of cybercrime. The influencer was arraigned on three charges of cybercrime, breach of public peace, and felony. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Nigeria Police Force has said it has handed over the case file of the four officers involved in the extrajudicial killing of a suspect to the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) for vetting and prosecution. Force spokesperson Anthony Okon at a press conference in Abuja on Sunday said the handover followed ratification of the officers’ dismissal by the Police Service Commission. The police in Katsina State have launched a manhunt for bandits responsible for the killing of 11 persons in communities in Kankia Local Government Area. The state Commissioner of Police, Ali Umar-Fage, gave the directive following a series of attacks on villages in the area, according to a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, Abubakar Sadiq-Aliyu.
