President Bola Tinubu has directed the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to commence the reconstruction of the Warri-Sapele-Benin section of the East-West Road in Delta State. The NDDC Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku, was quoted as saying this in a report published by The Guardian Newspaper on Saturday. The report said Mr Ogbuku stated this during an inspection of the road, following persistent complaints about the deteriorating condition of the major highway. Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, stole the shine at the first birthday celebration of her grandson, Rakeem, which was held in Lagos on Saturday. Polygon has disclosed several previously private security vulnerabilities that could have disrupted its proof-of-stake network, after deploying fixes through two recent hard forks.The vulnerabilities affected Polygon’s Bor and Heimdall clients and included denial-of-service risks, validator resource exhaustion and flaws affecting checkpoint and milestone processing, according to a Thursday disclosure from Polygon Labs’ Validators Support Team. Global credit ratings agency Moody’s has revised its outlook for Nigeria upwards to “positive” from stable in response to the country’s improved external position, especially its foreign exchange reserves. The reserves have recorded robust growth lately from buffers that are making the economy increasingly able to handle shocks, Moody’s noted.
