Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has said President Bola Tinubu will only lose the 2027 general elections if voting is conducted on social media platforms.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television which started trending on Sunday, Sani said online narratives do not reflect the reality of electoral strength at polling units.
He was speaking on the forthcoming general elections and the touting of Tinubu on social media.
โIf the election is going to be conducted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or social media, Asiwaju will lose, but if it is people who will vote through the ballot at polling units, he is going to win 70% of the votes,โ he said.
His remarks come amid growing political conversations ahead of 2027 and continued online support for Peter Obi, who drew strong backing on social media before and after the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
