President Bola Tinubu has rescheduled his planned three-nation trip to Sunday.
Tinubu was initially set to fly out on Saturday.
It has now been moved forward by 24 hours, as confirmed in a statement posted on X by the president’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga wrote on Saturday, “President Tinubu has rescheduled his three-nation trip to begin on Sunday, rather than Saturday as previously indicated.”
He did not provide any reason for the change in Tinubu’s schedule.
Tinubu was scheduled to depart Abuja on Saturday for official visits to France, Kenya and Rwanda.
The trip will begin with a stop in France before proceeding to Nairobi, Kenya.
Tinubu is expected to attend the Africa-France Summit in Nairobi, co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.
