The APC held its House of Reps primary on Saturday across the 360 federal constituencies nationwide.
Ahead of the primary, the party had disqualified 14 aspirants from contesting the primary across Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi, and Rivers states.

The All Progressives Congress has declared the results of the election primaries conducted in the 12 federal constituencies in Rivers State, with Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, leading the pack.
Recall that the APC had disqualified four aspirants loyal to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, including three serving members of the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, while 20 others were cleared to contest Saturday’s election primaries.

3. Mothers wail as terrorists abduct over 45 Oyo pupils
No fewer than 45 pupils have been reported abducted during the Friday attack on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

5: 17 policemen confirmed killed in Yobe
The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed the death of 17 police officers following a terrorist attack on the Nigerian Army Special Forces School in Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State.
