Operatives of the Delta State Police Command’s Anti-Cult Unit have arrested a 28-year-old suspected cult leader, Christopher Ogidigbo, in Oghara, Ethiope-West Local Government Area.
The suspected kingpin of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity was arrested on 15 May 2026 at about 1230hrs.
The operatives recovered one locally made revolver pistol from the suspect.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the development in a statement on Sunday.
“On 15 May 2026 at about 1230hrs, operatives acting on credible intelligence, operatives of the command anti-cult unit arrested one Christopher Ogidigbo, aged 28 years, of Ogharaefe Town in Ethiope-West Local Government Area, identified as a suspected kingpin of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity (SVC).
“One locally made revolver pistol was recovered from the suspect during the operation.
“Investigation is ongoing to ascertain his possible involvement in other criminal activities,” the statement said.
