Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s possible wedding venue is the talk of the town — and signs might be pointing back to Rhode Island based on recent activity at the pop star’s mansion.
Security was spotted outside Swift’s $18 million estate in Rhode Island on Wednesday, June 17, TMZ reported.
According to the outlet, a security detail was seen in the driveway of the home as the “gate opened and an SUV with tinted windows” exited the property. The publication claimed that an armed guard “stood by the gate” until it closed.
There were also reports of two “armed guards with huge binoculars” watching the beach area outside Swift’s mansion, per the outlet.
The uptick in action at Swift’s home reportedly began around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, when an eyewitness told TMZ they saw lights on throughout the pad.
Sources previously told Us Weekly that Swift and Kelce, both 36, are expected to tie the knot this summer, so it’s unclear whether the security sighting in Rhode Island is linked to wedding planning — or if it’s a wedding-related event like a bachelorette party.
Some fans are betting on the latter as video footage published by TMZ from Wednesday night also showed four unidentified women on a rooftop balcony at Swift’s mansion.
In the TikTok clip, three women could be seen wearing black robes. The fourth woman, a blonde, was wearing white, hinting at a possible bachelorette party for the bride.
In a separate video, a red-haired woman, who appeared to be Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard, was spotted on a patio overlooking the home’s lavish grounds.
The woman was holding a small child, which some fans think could be Berard’s almost 2-year-old son, Bennett.
Us Weekly has reached out to Swift’s representative for comment.

The activity at Swift’s Rhode Island mansion is throwing fans for a loop as the Grammy winner and fiancé Kelce continue to keep the details of their nuptials under wraps.
After the pair got engaged in August 2025, rumors began to circulate about the date and venue for the highly anticipated wedding.
“They’re both involved and making decisions together,” an insider exclusively told Us in April, adding that the couple have been “focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure” as the big day approaches. “They’re keeping things light.”
The source revealed at the time that Swift and Kelce’s wedding festivities would most likely be split between the singer’s Rhode Island estate and Ocean House, a five-star seaside resort nearby.
“The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding [will be split between the venues],” a second insider shared, noting that Swift may still have other places in mind.
While many are still convinced that the nuptials will be in Rhode Island, reports surfaced earlier this month that the pair could be saying “I do” at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Multiple outlets reported in June that Swift and Kelce were looking at a July 3 ceremony in the Big Apple, but the couple have not publicly addressed the speculation.
