Robert Pattinson couldn’t make it to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding — which he appears to regret after learning he missed out on “free” gifts from the big event.
“They were giving away lots of stuff?” Pattinson, 40, asked while speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Monday, July 6, teasing, “What did I get?”
Pattinson wasn’t able to attend the wedding at New York City’s Madison Square Garden due to his busy schedule, but his fiancée, Suki Waterhouse, showed up for the celebration, where guests reportedly had chances to win prizes including Cartier watches, designer purses and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, officially tied the knot on Friday, July 3, after three years together.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” read a statement from Swift’s rep. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”
The statement continued: “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Despite the extensive guest list, several people were noticeably absent from Swift and Kelce’s big day. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were photographed in upstate New York — nearly 300 miles away from MSG — ahead of Swift’s wedding day. The couple cheered on their daughter Betty, 6, at a horse show at a local farm.
A source previously told Us Weekly that Lively, 38, did not receive an invitation to the wedding. (The pair had a falling out months prior after Swift was dragged into Lively’s legal battle with It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni.)
Page Six later reported that Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller, were not invited to celebrate Swift and Kelce following rumors of a rift.
Other no-shows included Harry Styles, who was finishing up his Together, Together tour dates in London. His fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, attended the NYC bash solo in his absence.
Leading up to the wedding, a source told Us that invited guests had to sign an NDA to ensure all of the details remained under wraps.
“The save the date was sent electronically, and guests had to agree to an NDA before they could see any details,” the insider shared.
Another source added that invitations were sent electronically “and included guests’ names so those who were on the guest list wouldn’t make the invites public.”
