Police arrest 63-year-old suspected drug dealer, recover bags of cannabis

The Nigeria Police Force in Akwa Ibom State has said it arrested a 63-year-old man allegedly involved in drug trafficking and recovered large quantities of substances suspected to be cannabis. The police identified the suspect as Asuquo Etim, a resident of Etebi Village in Esit Eket Local Government Area of the state. Police neutralise three kidnap suspects in Oyo, rescue victim

Men of the Oyo State Police Command have killed three persons suspected of being kidnappers.  The suspects were killed in Otu in Itesiwaju local government area of Oyo, according to the Public Relations Officer of the Police department, Olayinka Ayanlade. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has deployed over 56,000 personnel across the country to ensure adequate security during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
