Troops rescue abducted retired army colonel in Plateau

Troops of the 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army and Operation Enduring Peace have rescued a retired senior military officer identified as Colonel Ajanaku (rtd), from kidnappers in the State. Mr Ajanaku was rescued in the Rafiki axis of the Bassa Local Government Area. Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that it has identified and detained officers accused of extorting N3.3 million from a couple in the state.
