The Donald Trump administration has imposed a new travel restriction on Nigeria, requiring that Nigerians seeking to enter the United States on a B1/B2 visa post bonds of up to $15,000 before being granted entry. The US Department of State disclosed this in a notice shared on its website on Tuesday. Three days after the Lagos State Police Command summoned Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry in Lagos, over multiple rape and other allegations, the cleric turned himself in. The judge handling the N8.7 billion money-laundering prosecution of former Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, has issued a firm caution, warning that nobody associated with the case should attempt to approach him privately. Oyo State Police Command has declared that it has mobilised more personnel to secure the old Oyo National Park. The state Commissioner of Police, Femi Haruna, made this known during an on-the-spot assessment at the park on Wednesday. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the interim forfeiture of 57 properties linked to a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami and two of his sons, Abdulaziz Malami and Abiru-Rahman Malami, to the Federal Government.
