The price of liquefied petroleum gas, known as cooking gas, surged for the second time in three days amid the Eid-ul-Adha celebration in Nigeria.  A market survey by DAILY POST showed that the price of a kilogram of cooking gas rose from N1500 to between N1700 and N1800 across different locations in Abuja and its environs.  This means that cooking gas prices were adjusted upward by N200 and N300.  The latest price hike comes two days after the LPG price was increased to N1500 per kg from N1200.
