Ibrahim Abubakar has parted ways with Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions, Remo Stars. Abubakar left the Sky Blue Stars following the expiration of his contract. The 25-year-old midfielder registered two goals, and one assist for Remo Stars before his departure. Abubakar won the NPFL title with the Ikenne-based club last season. He joined Remo Stars from Kano Pillars in 2024. Abubakar also once had stints with Plateau United.
The Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party, Hon. The fuel supply arrangement between the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and 20 major petroleum marketers, under which the parties agreed to offtake 600 million litres of petrol monthly, has collapsed over pricing disagreements, The PUNCH has exclusively learnt.
