The Federal Government, in partnership with the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the Ondo State Government, is set to empower a total of 14,800 youths in agricultural production. Jigawa State has aligned with other Nigerian states to domesticate Nigeria’s tax reform laws, following the passage of the Harmonised Taxes and Levies Bill, as the country begins the implementation its new tax regime in 2026. The Commissioner of Police in Borno State, CP Naziru Abdulmajid, has disbursed a total of N18.38 million to families of police officers who died in the line of duty under the Nigeria Police Force Group Life Assurance Scheme.
