Bandits, suspected armed herders, have killed a soldier and an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps  at Udeku community in the Turan district of the Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State. The Sokoto State Police Command has confirmed that two currency exchange dealers were killed when suspected bandits attacked the Durusar Gawo currency market in Kurdula District, Gudu Local Government Area of the state.
