The North-Central All Progressives Congress, APC, Forum has stated that it does not intend to foment crisis in the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Forum made the declaration while withdrawing an ultimatum issued to APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda. Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested one suspect in connection with an armed robbery attack on female students of the Adamawa State Polytechnic, Yola. The robbery occurred in the early hours of May 28, 2026, when armed hoodlums reportedly stormed a residence occupied by the students behind the MOPE Extension in Numan Local Government Area, forcefully taking cash, mobile phones, power banks and other valuables from the students.
