The Court of Appeal has upheld a high court order nullifying the Rivers APC ward, local government, and state congresses that produced the Tony Okocha-led exco loyal to FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. Recall that Okocha had filed an appeal at the appellate court against the ex parte order of the High Court, which barred the APC from conducting its congresses in the state. Oyo State Fire Service has recovered the two bodies of two passengers from a river in Ibadan, after the vehicle they were traveling in ran into the water. The two bodies were recovered from Ariyo river along Amuloko, in Ona Ara Local Government Area of the state on Friday. It was learnt that the incident involved a Toyota Avensis with an unknown registration number. The car lost control and ran into the river.
