Russia’s central bank governor, Elvira Nabiullina, confirmed that the country was prepared to roll out its central bank digital currency (CBDC) in two months, following the timeline it laid out last year. The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the promotion of 13 Commissioners of Police (CPs) to Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) and 80 other senior officers to their next ranks. Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has announced another reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), marking its fourth price cut within a month as the company said it continues to pass lower production costs to consumers despite still processing crude oil purchased at significantly higher international prices.
