The University of Port Harcourt has approved the appointment of Professor Princewill Chike as the 10th Vice Chancellor of the institution. Chike was the Rivers State Commissioner for Health during the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike. A 28-year-old Congolese man, Benjamin Katabana, has been found guilty of murdering a UK-based Nigerian student, Uchenna Okirie, following a fatal stabbing at a shared accommodation in Norwich, England.
