The Court of Appeal in Abuja has faulted Justice Uche Ogomoh of the Federal High Court in Ibadan for granting reliefs that were not sought by any of the parties in a dispute involving the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The Osun State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old man, Odetayo Adebayo Samuel of Ila Orangun, for allegedly spreading false security information on social media that caused panic among residents across the state. The Police Command in Ogun says it has arrested seven suspects for alleged armed robbery, housebreaking, stealing, conspiracy, and conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace in separate operations across the state. The Democratic Leadership Alliance has refunded N10 million nomination fee paid by its former presidential aspirant, Mrs Abisayo Busari-Akinnadeju, following her withdrawal from the party’s 2027 presidential race.
