A gas explosion on Adeleye Street, by the Doyin area of Orile-Iganmu in Lagos on Tuesday caused a fire outbreak that left a gas attendant injured and affected two shops. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service said it received a distress call at about 12:23 p.m. and arrived at the scene by 12:34 p.m. Firefighters from the Sari Iganmu and Ajegunle Fire Stations were immediately deployed to contain the situation.
