At least four people – believed to be herders – were killed on Tuesday morning when gunmen invaded a residential settlement in the outskirts of Agu-Ifite Awka, a community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Nigeria’s gross external reserves have increased to $52.52 billion, providing import cover for approximately 11 months of goods and services, according to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
