Troops attached to Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) Joint Task Force have killed two suspected bandits during a security operation along the Naka–Makurdi axis of Benue State. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has disclosed that it arrested 336 suspects for offences related to cannabis sativa, popularly known as Indian hemp, in Ondo State in 2025.
