Bandits attacked Kiratawa community in Sabon-Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State on Friday, killing the community Imam and shooting another person along a nearby road. The Kebbi State Police Command, in collaboration with the military and other security agencies, has foiled a cattle-rustling attack by suspected Lakurawa bandits in Bunza Local Government Area of the state, neutralising one suspect in the process.
