The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Joash Amupitan, has urged electoral officers to discharge their duties with integrity, warning that there will be consequences for misconduct during the 2027 general elections. Four people have been arrested in connection with the alleged mob killing of Basit Kolade after a road accident on Freeman Street, Lagos Island, the Lagos State Police Command said on Monday.
