Nigerian govt announces duty waiver for personal vehicles temporarily imported

The Nigerian government, through the Nigeria Customs Service, has announced the commencement of procedures for granting safe passage to personal vehicles temporarily imported or transiting Nigeria by international travelers.NCS spokesperson Abdullahi Maiwada disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. Jigawa records 173 deaths, 1,000 injuries in 2025 – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) reported that no fewer than 173 people died and 1,000 sustained various degrees of injuries in road traffic crashes across Jigawa State in 2025. Transfer: Nwaiwu completes move to Turkish club Trabzonspor

Trabzonspor have announced the signing of Nigerian defender Chibuike Nwaiwu, DAILY POST reports. Nwaiwu joined the Turkish Super Lig outfit from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC. The 22-year-old put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year after  successfully completing his medicals in Istanbul. Trabzonspor paid Wolfsberger AC €5.5 for the player.
