The Lagos State Police Command says it is closely monitoring social media platforms to uncover and tackle a wave of staged kidnappings in parts of the state. The command revealed that several social media videos depicting kidnapping incidents, which had sparked fear and led to ransom payments, were carefully orchestrated scams.
