The police on Tuesday dragged two security guards before a Life Camp Chief Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, for allegedly stealing a car and a plasma television. The defendants, Amadi Basil, 30 and Arthria Aondona, 36, are standing trial on charges bordering on house breaking, forgery, and stealing. They each, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges. Authorities of the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State have ordered the immediate closure of Abu Sinan High School in the Sabon Layi community over safety concerns. Sony has announced plans to spin off its TV hardware business, shifting it to a new joint venture with TCL.
