Lagos State Taskforce has launched a renewed enforcement drive along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road corridor, focusing on commercial motorcycles, traffic infractions and the removal of illegal roadside structures. During the operation, more than 50 motorcycles were seized, while 10 vehicles were apprehended for various traffic violations. An expert has warned that the suspension of United States foreign aid for HIV/AIDS programmes could reverse years of progress and expose young Nigerians to renewed risk.
