The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, ICRC, has described the signing of the concession agreement for Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, as a major boost for the economy of the South-East. Troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralised six suspected terrorists, recovered weapons, destroyed camps and rescued a kidnapped minor during a military operation in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The operation was carried out by troops of the 8 Division Garrison Strike Force under Operation FANSAN YAMMA in the Sububu Forest axis. The Cross River State Police Command has arrested three suspects linked to the mob killing of a suspected armed robber in the Abangasang area of Calabar, the state capital. The command’s Public Relations Officer, Sunday Eitokpah, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Sunday.
