Rano Air has announced the temporary suspension of some of its flight routes, citing the sharp rise in aviation fuel prices and worsening operational costs in Nigeria’s aviation sector. President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Arinola Ogbara-Banjoko as a Non-Executive Director on the board of the Nigeria Commodity Exchange under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. There was pandemonium on Friday morning at Ngbra Zongo community, Kwall District of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, as unknown gunmen reportedly killed at least 13 persons in a fresh attack. The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday granted Bauchi State Commissioner for Finance, Yakubu Adamu, permission to travel to Saudi Arabia for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage and undergo surgery abroad. Justice Emeka Nwite, while delivering ruling in suit number FHC/ABJ/CR/694/2025, also ordered the temporary release of the defendant’s international passport to enable the trip scheduled between May 9 and May 28, 2026.
