Residents of Ilu Abo community in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State took to the streets on Monday to protest against incessant attacks by gunmen in the community. This followed the abduction of a woman, Tomiola Oladehinde, by unknown gunmen at the entrance of her house on Sunday evening. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has ruled that any Computer-Based Test centre whose registration activities cannot be monitored remotely will not be allowed to participate in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration.
