How did you meet your wife? I first noticed my wife, Aderonke, during a singles programme at Goodnews Baptist Church and admired her calm, respectful personality. We later grew closer through church activities and mutual friends. Was it love at first sight? I would say it was more curiosity than love at first sight. I became interested in knowing more about her personality, values, and family background. As we spent more time talking and getting to know each other, the connection naturally evolved into love. How did you propose to her? Before the proposal, we had already discussed marriage seriously.…

The Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Shehu Mohammed, disclosed this on Friday during the commemoration of the 2026 West African Road Safety Organisation Day in Abuja. According to the World Health Organisation, Africa records one of…
In recent years, there has been a growing fascination with modern diets, superfoods, imported ingredients, and packaged health solutions. Yet, in the process, something important has quietly been overlooked: the nutritional wisdom embedded in our traditional foods. For those living with Sickle Cell Disease, this is not just a cultural conversation. It is a practical one. Because long before nutrition became a global trend, many African diets were already built around balance, nourishment, and sustainability. Traditional Nigerian meals are more than recipes. They are expressions of culture, history, and community. But they are also, in many ways, nutritionally intelligent. For…

According to Ajala, the reintegration into the mainstream APC in the state was facilitated by the son of the Minister for Marine and…
The Ogun State Government has explained why a batch of intending pilgrims scheduled to depart for the 2026 Hajj from the newly inaugurated Gateway International Airport, Iperu, was moved to Lagos, insisting that the decision was not connected to any safety or operational shortcomings at the airport. The government’s clarification followed a report by The PUNCH, which stated that a Saudi airline had allegedly shunned the Ogun airport, leaving some pilgrims stranded and forcing authorities to relocate operations to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Reacting to the development on Friday in a statement, the state government denied claims that…
